PEI PROVINCIAL REGISTRARS FOR PEI RESIDENTS- Dancers: 2010 PEI Dancer Registration Form All competitive Highland dancers must register annually with the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing (S.O.B.H.D.) ScotDance Canada is the Canadian Registration Agent for the S.O.B.H.D. All dancers must register through their Provincial Affiliate. Example: If you reside in PEI, your Provincial Affiliate is ScotDance PEI. If you reside in NS, your Provincial Affiliate is ScotDance NS. If you reside in NB, your Provincial Affiliate is ScotDance NB. All registration forms must be signed by your teacher. Please contact your dance teacher for more information regarding dancer registration. Appropriate fees must accompany all registrations along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope for the return of the card. Dancers must present a current card upon registration at each competition/championship or he/she will not be eligible to receive their awards until a valid card is presented. Provinces levy a fee if card is not presented at competition registration in order to cover the cost of forwarding any awards and cards. If you have any questions regarding your competitive status or the registration process, please direct them to your instructor. Professionals: 2010 Professional Registration Form (due September 30) Professionals must be members in good standing of ScotDance Canada in order for their Highland students to register with the S.O.B.H.D. via ScotDance Canada, the National Registration Agent. Professionals must also be Highland members in good standing with one of the examining bodies (B.A.T.D., S.D.T.A., U.K.A.) and/or a current member of the S.O.B.H.D. Panel of Judges. Proof of membership must be presented at time of registration with ScotDance Canada. For PEI residents~ Send completed forms, proof and fees, with self-addressed stamped envelope to:

Competition Organizers: - ScotDance Canada Competition Organizers Registration Forms are distributed directly to renewing organizers via ScotDance PEI prior to November each year. - New organizers wishing to register a competition, championship or workshop should contact the SDPEI Competition Registrar directly.
